Kitchen - Bolton Gemma & Chris
Gemma and Chris were remodelling their home, and we initially installed new bedrooms. The open plan kitchen living space followed closely after, and from the get-go, Gemma was fully immersed in all areas of the design.
She meticulously listed every item that would be stored inside the units and we set about configuring the internals to the millimetre, so there was no wasted space.
The cherry on the storage cake was a cavernous cross-corner larder unit. Not just for the enormous amount of storage it provided, but because it also concealed an ugly bulkhead and soil pipe, which would otherwise have ruined the aesthetic of the room.
A beautiful dining island provides a focal point and has fast become the heart and hub of the new space. It’s used for homework and as an impromptu office, as well as for family meals and entertaining.
Gemma says the project has transformed family life in more ways than she ever thought possible. In no small part, the success is down to her and that epic contribution at design stage, which has paid off in spades!
