Bespoke

Our portfolio covers home offices, bathroom cabinets, dressing rooms and media units, and we specialise in building fitted furniture for difficult or angled spaces.

Recent Bespoke ProjectStudy - Ormskirk

Our client is a financial director whose brief was to create a stylish and professional, yet restful, workspace. The room is visible during online business meetings and it was imperative for the room to portray an appropriate outward facing image as well as a comfortable space in which to work.

We removed from view all office clutter, locating the printer and shredder on pull-out shelves within cupboards. Ugly cabling was completely concealed and both task-based and ambient lighting were installed.

The various angled walls and ceilings were harmoniously married into the design, creating a cohesive aesthetic throughout the room.
Attractive display and storage sections were incorporated into the design, creating a statement office that delivers on both style and substance.

Recent Bespoke ProjectGarden Room - Lancashire

This small and mighty project is situated within the garden of a 400 year old cottage in the heart of the countryside.

Our brief was to create a multi-purpose garden room.

Part boot room, part laundry/drying room. With a dog wash area and enough floor space for a couple of yoga mats. Oh and lots of storage, with worktops and a sink that could be utilised as an ‘outdoor’ kitchen in the summer.
All the above had to be achieved in a space measuring 4.5 x 2.5 metres.

The floor has electric underfloor heating, which is great for airing laundry and drying soggy outdoor clothing. Two retractable clothes lines run above the sink worktop, and the washing machine sits below, neatly tucked behind doors.

The large Belfast sink with separate spray tap makes washing muddy dogs a doddle. It’s also big enough for buckets and swilling down dirty barbecue equipment.

Clever full height storage sits along one wall so things can easily be popped away when not in use.

And then, when the laundry’s folded, dogs are washed and everything is neatly put away, the room transforms.

Task lighting is replaced by the soft glow of candlelight, and it’s time to take a breath. Namaste!!

Recent Bespoke ProjectCloakroom - Harwood

We created a stylish and functional cloakroom in the entrance hall of this converted chapel.
The floor-to-ceiling cupboards conceal unsightly utility cables and consumer units, as well as providing practical storage for coats, shoes and jackets.
As the cloakroom is the first thing one sees on entering the house, we added decorative features, including a tongue and groove section for visitors’ coats, and display shelving for visual appeal.

Recent Bespoke ProjectHidden Bed And Storage - Chorley

We created this furniture for a guest suite situated within our clients' woodland garden. The space itself is also used for yoga and family entertaining, so needed to be practical and visually attractive. Our solution - a hidden Murphy bed.
The bed can be pulled down when guests visit, but otherwise is hidden away to maximise the floorspace.
We added useful storage for bedding and a versatile open display section. The worktops directly above each of the pull-out drawers can be used as bedside tables.

We designed and installed the bar and luxury media cabinetry within this stylish cinema room.
Speakers, cabling and various small electrical boxes are concealed in handleless cupboards, and plenty of discreet and practical storage is provided in the bar area.

Recent Bespoke ProjectPendlebury bathroom

Understated contemporary made-to-measure bathroom cabinetry. Our client specified simple units that complemented the oak flooring and worktop. It was important that the cabinetry did not compete with the fretted timber window panels and statement bath. Practicality and lots of storage were real priorities, so internal shelving and drawers were precisely tailored to the client's needs A push-to-open hinge system eliminated the need for handles, which in a bathroom can often become grubby, and the painted high gloss doors are easy to wipe and very practical.

Recent Bespoke ProjectBespoke en-suite

Small is beautiful. This bespoke en-suite has eggshell painted doors in Farrow and Ball Ammonite. We built a waist to ceiling cupboard in the recess above the WC’s concealed frame, creating a fabulous amount of storage. The wall-hung vanity unit incorporates useful drawers and helps to give an illusion of space in what is a fairly compact room.
